Artemide
Italy
Artemide is an Italian lighting manufacturer founded in 1960 near Milan by Ernesto Gismondi and Sergio Mazza. The brand is known for iconic designs such as the Tizio lamp by Richard Sapper (1972) and the Tolomeo lamp by Michele De Lucchi & Giancarlo Fassina (1986), as well as for "The Human Light" philosophy, in which light is always centred on people and their well-being. Artemide works with leading architects and designers such as Vico Magistretti, Zaha Hadid, Herzog & de Meuron, Naoto Fukasawa and Carlotta de Bevilacqua.
