Flos is an Italian lighting manufacturer founded in Merano in 1962. The company became famous with designs by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni and Tobia Scarpa and characterised modern lighting design with icons such as the "Arco" arc lamp and "Parentesi". Flos combines technological innovation with design excellence and works with renowned designers such as Philippe Starck, Patricia Urquiola and Michael Anastassiades. Flos is now headquartered in Bovezzo near Brescia and is internationally active in the residential, architectural and outdoor sectors.
