The dining or work table is a design by the Swiss architect Hans Bellmann (1911-1990) from 1946, made of lacquered birch wood with chrome-plated metal joints. Table in good condition, length 205 cm, seats 4-6 people.

Hans Bellmann (1911-1990) was an influential Swiss architect and designer who is best known for his functional furniture designs. After studying at the Bauhaus and working with Mies van der Rohe, he developed iconic pieces such as the „one-point chair“, which impress with their clever construction and minimalist design. Bellmann left his mark on Swiss home decor in the 1950s and 1960s, received several awards from the Swiss Werkbund and also worked as a lecturer, passing on his vision of clear, well thought-out design.
