Alfred Roth (1903-1998) was a Swiss architect and designer who worked in Le Corbusier's Paris office in the 1920s and designed furniture in addition to his building projects, including stackable chairs, tables and cabinets that impress with their simple shapes, robust construction and practical usability, some of which are still in production today.
